Berlin-Marzahn, 13. April 2024 10:15 to 0:00

The regional group Berlin invites to a guided tour through the Gardens of the World (https://www.gaertenderwelt.de/). We will embark on a small world tour for approximately 90 minutes. Afterwards, you will have the opportunity to explore the garden further on your own or in groups and/or to visit a restaurant/café.

About the Gardens of the World in Berlin-Marzahn:
The expansive Marzahn Recreational Park, now better known as the “Gardens of the World”, was opened in 1987 in the formerly divided Berlin to commemorate the city’s 750th anniversary in East Berlin. As part of this project, various themed gardens were gradually created, including the Japanese, Balinese, Oriental, Korean, and Christian gardens, as well as the Italian Renaissance Garden and the Chinese Garden of the Recovered Moon. The latter is Germany’s largest garden of its kind and symbolically embodies the reunification of the city of Berlin.
